The General Directorate for Fiscal Anti-Fraud (DGAF) within ANAF conducted inspections in the alternative passenger transport sector between September and November 2025, imposing total fines of 3,125,000 lei, suspending the activity of 12,358 vehicles, and confiscating 82,642,327 lei in cash, without supporting documents. These actions target economic operators with high fiscal risk and utilize modern digital tools, such as E-invoice and electronic cash registers.

ANAF checked 123 companies, focusing on compliance with the obligation to use electronic fiscal cash registers. Authorities intend to continue intensifying controls to ensure fiscal compliance and fair competition among operators, reminding that non-compliance with the legislation can lead to severe penalties.
