The draft law provides for the obligation to obtain an AM1 driving license for individuals who ride electric scooters and bicycles, starting at the age of 14. This measure comes as a result of serious accidents recorded, including 2 deaths in the first 8 months of the year. The license will require a theoretical and practical exam, and its validity will be 10 years. Additionally, the necessity of mandatory insurance for these vehicles will be regulated, in accordance with EU regulations.
