Florin Manole, former Minister of Labor, stated that during his term, nearly 8,000 individuals with disability certificates lost their benefits, after inspections showed that they were not persons with disabilities.

The National Agency for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities conducted over 72,000 reassessments, identifying 8,750 certificates that should not have been granted. Manole emphasized that, alongside the fight against undeclared work and fraud, the goal was also to ensure social justice.

Thus, 11,000 individuals who were incorrectly classified received new classifications, according to medical realities. These measures reflect the ministry's commitment to correcting errors in the system for classifying persons with disabilities.
