The Ministry of Education has reported an 84.2% attendance rate for the compulsory written test in the fall session of the Baccalaureate, with 15,780 candidates present out of 18,745 registered. In addition, 2,965 candidates were absent and 24 were eliminated from the exam due to fraud. The exam continues with a choice paper and a language and mother-tongue test, and the final results will be published on August 26, after appeals.
