Albert NBN was fined three fines of 1000 lei each for using vulgar and offensive language against Romania during the 'Beach, Please!' festival. Gendarmerie representatives said that the sanctions were applied in accordance with the law on social norms. MP Dumitru Coarnă filed a criminal complaint accusing the artist of incitement to hatred and offenses against national symbols. Albert NBN explained that he wanted to express a generation's frustration with the decisions of the authorities.
