The Alba Iulia City Hall is facing an enforcement action from the Alba Iulia Court due to a debt of 13,213,536.13 lei to the Alba Iulia Public Transport Company (STP). This amount represents unpaid invoices for local public transport services, updated with the inflation index and penalty interest.

Due to unpaid salaries, STP has suspended public transport services, and the company's lawyers have sought the support of judicial executors to recover the debts. Two executors showed up at the City Hall to initiate procedures to block the institution's accounts. The STP lawyer stated that the drivers no longer wish to work without salaries, and the mayor has been accused of not taking swift action to resolve the situation.
