Traffic at the Capital's airports exceeded 13.2 million passengers in the first nine months of 2025, registering a 9% increase compared to last year.

The National Company Bucharest Airports (CNAB) announced that, in the first nine months of 2025, it recorded an air traffic of 13.28 million passengers, which represents an increase of 9.23% compared to the same period in 2024. Henri Coandă Airport had 12.9 million passengers, while Băneasa Airport recorded 379,073 passengers. CNAB estimates that it will reach a total of 17 million passengers by the end of 2025. Total revenues for this year are projected at 1.59 billion lei, with a net profit of 541.8 million lei. Additionally, the company anticipates a number of 1,463 employees by the end of the year and investments of 507.8 million lei, an increase compared to the previous year.
