AEP allocated in July 15,470,004 lei in subsidies for eight political parties, the largest amount this year.

The Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) transferred in July 2026 a total subsidy of 15,470,004 lei to eight political parties, representing the largest amount granted in a single month this year.

PSD received 5,132,818 lei, followed by AUR with 3,035,116 lei, PNL with 2,794,483 lei, and USR with 1,983,502 lei. The allocated amounts have steadily increased since the beginning of the year, with slight variations, the smallest amount being 14,471,475 lei in January. Since February, the subsidies have remained almost constant, with minimal fluctuations.

In July, the amounts increased symbolically compared to June, by just three lei. Parties such as PMP and Forța Dreptei received constant amounts, without significant changes. AEP highlighted that the major increases in subsidies occurred between January and February, and subsequently the amounts remained stable.
