Cuzin Toma placed under judicial supervision after the accident in Teleorman

Actor Cuzin Toma, known for his role as Firicel in the series “Las Fierbinți,” was placed under judicial supervision after being detained for 24 hours following a road accident that occurred on October 12 in the commune of Peretu, Teleorman County. He is being investigated for driving a vehicle under the influence of prohibited substances.

The accident, which resulted in material damage, took place around 18:45. According to the police, the driver, who was traveling from Alexandria toward Roșiori de Vede, allegedly failed to keep a safe distance from the car in front and collided with it.

Following the checks, investigators found that the actor’s driving privileges had been suspended. The alcohol test was negative, but the DrugTest device indicated the presence of substances, which is why biological samples were collected. According to sources, the analyses allegedly indicated cocaine and cannabis use.

The case is being coordinated by prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Roșiori de Vede District Court. Investigations are continuing to establish all the circumstances.

Cuzin Toma has had similar problems before. In 2022, he was sentenced to one year in prison for driving without a license and under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances, a sentence whose enforcement was postponed. He denied the allegations at the time.
