The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) warns about the restrictions imposed in Spain on the occasion of the solar eclipse, due to the extreme risks of fires.
The decision was made considering that a large gathering of people is expected in certain areas to observe the phenomenon. The measures include prohibiting access to trails and open areas, as well as banning the lighting of fires in forests and in the surrounding areas within a radius of 500 m. Natural parks will be closed, and camping will be prohibited in certain locations.
MAE recommends that Romanian citizens avoid restricted areas and comply with the instructions of local authorities. Additionally, citizens can request consular assistance at the phone numbers of the General Consulate of Romania in Valencia.
MAE emphasizes the importance of consulting official information and the "Travel Informed" application for travel advice.
