A 29-year-old woman from Giurgiu died due to complications during childbirth, and the authorities are investigating possible medical negligence.

Mădălina, a young woman from Giurgiu, passed away at the County Emergency Clinical Hospital of Constanța after suffering severe complications following her first childbirth. Although the baby survived, Mădălina's condition deteriorated rapidly due to a hemorrhage. The police have opened an investigation to check if there was any medical negligence, while the clinic claims that it followed all protocols. The birth took place naturally on the night of October 7 to 8, and her baby, weighing 3,430 grams, was born healthy.
