According to an internal consultation conducted by the Federation of Free Trade Unions in Education (FSLI), 8 out of 10 employees in education support the initiation of a strike, and over 85% state that the measures of the Bolojan government significantly affect their professional activity. Almost 35,000 teachers and auxiliary staff participated in the consultation, the majority being FSLI members. The results show a state of dissatisfaction and pressure among teaching staff, with 77% of respondents agreeing to the strike. The unions are planning referendums for protests in March and April, during key periods for education, such as simulations and the end of the school year. Additionally, 74% of teachers in a similar survey by the 'Spiru Haret' Federation are willing to participate in the strike. Dissatisfaction is generated by the changes brought by Law 141/2025, which altered the organization of the educational system. The unions are considering various forms of protest, including a general strike and boycotting exams, depending on the evolution of negotiations with the authorities.
