The police discovered 74 elderly people housed in improper conditions in a dwelling in Cenad, Timiș County, after the closure of a home in the commune of Lenauheim for irregularities.

Following the closure of a nursing home in the Lenauheim commune, Timiș County, due to irregularities, police officers and inspectors from DGASPC Timiș conducted a control that led to the discovery of 74 elderly people housed in improper conditions in a residence in the locality of Cenad, belonging to the director of the closed unit. The nursing home was closed after it was found that the number of hospitalized individuals exceeded the legal capacity of the center. The elderly were moved to other authorized centers, and following the discovery in Cenad, an ambulance was requested to assess their health condition. Authorities have opened a criminal case for the unauthorized practice of a profession or activity, and the investigations are coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office next to the Sânnicolau Mare Court.
