A woman was found dead in the toilet of a church in Pitești

On the evening of April 17, police in Pitești were notified about the discovery of a deceased person in an annex of a church. At the scene, the medical team confirmed the death of a 47-year-old woman from Călinești. The investigation has been taken over by the Pitești Criminal Investigation Office, and a criminal case for manslaughter has been opened under the coordination of prosecutors.

To determine the exact cause of death, a forensic autopsy will be performed. The victim was found in the restroom of the place of worship, and initial information suggests the possibility of a suicide. Investigations continue to clarify all the circumstances of this tragedy.
