The Ministry of Health announced that 411 people in the homes of Viorel Pașca in Bihor County have been medically and logistically evaluated. Of these, 388 have been relocated in the country, mainly through the County Directorates of Social Assistance and Child Protection (DGASPC). Nine people remained hospitalized at the Oradea County Hospital, another nine at the Municipal Hospital in Beiuș, and five were taken over by DGASPC Bihor.
The ministry emphasized that the intervention was rapid, considering the complexity of the case and the vulnerability of the victims. Mixed teams ensured medical triage, first aid, specialized medical assistance, and psychological support.
Meanwhile, the coordinator of the illegal asylums, Viorel Pașca, is being heard by DIICOT, being accused of forming an organized criminal group and human trafficking. The investigation revealed the exploitation of hundreds of vulnerable people under the guise of a humanitarian association, with the aim of obtaining financial benefits.
