The National Company Bucharest Airports announced the cancellation of 29 flights, including 14 departures and 15 arrivals, to and from destinations such as Egypt, Israel, Dubai, Qatar, Lebanon, and Cyprus, as a result of the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East. Among the affected airlines are Anima Wings, El Al-Israel Airlines, Fly One Romania, FlyDubai, Hisky Europe, Qatar Airways, Ryanair, TAROM, and Wizz Air Malta. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has recommended that Romanian citizens cancel or reschedule their trips to Israel and the affected neighboring states. The conflict has recently escalated, with attacks launched by Israel and the United States against Iran, followed by a response from Iran through missile and drone attacks on American military bases in the region.
