Two-month-old baby found in cardiac-respiratory arrest in Vrancea. The police have opened an investigation.

A baby girl, approximately 2 months old, was found in cardiac arrest upon the arrival of the ambulance, with the medical team immediately initiating advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation protocol. Unfortunately, the efforts of the medical team were unsuccessful, and the doctor was forced to declare the death.

Representatives of the Vrancea County Police Inspectorate stated that the girl was born prematurely, at about 31 weeks, having medical issues and having caught a cold in the last few days. The mother called 112 after noticing that the baby was no longer breathing, after she had breastfed her and laid her in the crib. The case has been taken over by the police and the Forensic Medicine Service, with authorities set to investigate the circumstances of the death.
