The tragic incident took place on Sunday evening at around 18:00, when the young woman was caught by a train on the Miercurea-Ciuc-Mărășești route, while crossing the tracks. The Bacău police have opened a criminal investigation into the circumstances of the accident, with suspicion of manslaughter. Investigations are continuing to clarify the details of the incident.
