On January 24, 2026, police officers from the General Directorate of Police of Bucharest detained a 17-year-old young man, suspected of aggravated robbery. The incident occurred on January 23, when a woman called 112 to report that she had been deprived of her personal bag by force. The estimated damage is approximately 3,000 lei.

The young man was identified and caught on a street in Sector 4, having in his possession items obtained from the crime. He was detained for 24 hours and is to be presented to the Prosecutor's Office next to the Court of Sector 4, while investigations continue.
