In the last 24 hours, the mountain rescuers intervened in 127 calls, saving 133 people, mostly from the Sinaia and Brașov area.

In the last 24 hours, the mountain rescue teams had a busy day, receiving 127 emergency calls and intervening to save 133 people in difficulty on mountain trails. The most requests came from the Sinaia area, with 21 calls, followed by 17 to the Brașov City Mountain Rescue Service and 13 in Brașov County.


Of the rescued individuals, 40 were transported to the hospital by SAJ, SMURD, or Mountain Rescue ambulances, while the rest were taken to medical units by their relatives. Additionally, the National Mountain Rescue Dispatch received 63 calls for information and advice related to tourist trails, highlighting the importance of caution in mountain activities.
