The Authority for the Supervision and Protection of Animals in Bucharest announced the relocation of 115 cats that were living in unsuitable conditions in an apartment in Șos. Pantelimon.

The action was coordinated by the police officers of the Animal Protection Service within DGPMB, with the support of ASPA. The cats, which had been living together for years, had multiplied uncontrollably, and some of them had health issues.

The relocation was a challenge, but it was successfully carried out thanks to the effective collaboration between authorities and NGOs. The cats were taken in by several animal protection associations, including the Sache Association, One Rescue Association, and Save Our Paws Association, among others. This action highlights the importance of intervention by authorities in cases of abuse and neglect towards animals.
