Theodor Aman's ''Lilac on Green Satin'' sold at the Artmark auction for €115,000, making it the most expensive painting of the session.

The summer auction organized by Artmark took place at the Cesianu-Racoviță Palace and online, where Theodor Aman's ''Lilac on green satin'' was sold for €115,000, making it the best-selling painting. The work, dated 1885, was estimated at €70,000-120,000. Other notable works sold included Ion Țuculescu's ''Diluted Atmosphere'' for €92,500 and Nicolae Grigorescu's ''Interior at Rucar'' for €47,500. Artmark will organize future auctions dedicated to Romanian history and old Romanian art.
