The National Chamber Choir "Madrigal – Marin Constantin" will hold the Easter Tour "Holy Week" on March 26 and April 9, 2026, with performances in Timișoara, Oradea, Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, and Bucharest. The event, conducted by Anna Ungureanu, will explore the last days of Jesus through music, dramatic art, and scenography. The performance will include sacred texts interpreted by actors Marius Turdeanu and Richard Bovnoczki, as well as the participation of children from the Cantus Mundi National Program choirs. The repertoire will include works of Romanian and universal sacred music, including excerpts from Mozart's "Mass in C minor." The Madrigal Choir, founded in 1963, is a landmark of Romanian music and has been recognized as an Ambassador of Freedom, Hope, and Peace.
