A party organized on the island of Stromboli, attended by star Mick Jagger, was stopped by the Italian police because local rules prohibit music on Wednesdays. The event marked the conclusion of filming for the movie 'Three Incestuous Sisters', which features actors such as Dakota Johnson, Jessie Buckley, and Saoirse Ronan. The director of a local tourism office, Rosa Oliva, criticized the police intervention, calling it 'punitive intervention', emphasizing that the music was played at a reasonable volume. The incident caused confusion and laughter among the guests, who reluctantly accepted the officers' request. Oliva added that the police intervention reflects a lack of appreciation for the island's tourist contribution, instead of being celebrated. The film, directed by Alice Rohrwacher, is based on an American novel and features Jagger in the role of the lighthouse keeper.
