Teatrelli will put tickets for the performances in May on sale on April 1st at 5:00 PM, but on the same day, at 5:00 PM, it will cancel three performances as a form of protest against the announcement of the general mayor to merge several cultural institutions into a single structure called "Arts and Urban Events Bucharest".

Representatives of the institution emphasized that this action is not a joke, but a serious form of protest, mentioning that Teatrelli is a space built on process, equipment, and dialogue with the audience.

The general mayor of the Capital proposed the unification of several cultural institutions, and the project will be put to a vote in the General Council of Bucharest on April 2nd. Teatrelli warns that this change could lead to fewer cultural events and the loss of important cultural spaces.

The institution urges spectators to protest by sending emails to the general councilors and the Mayor of the Capital, requesting the withdrawal of the merger proposal.

Teatrelli is a project of the Center for Creation, Art, and Tradition of the Municipality of Bucharest - CREART, dedicated to innovative theater and dance productions.
