Taylor Momsen, the lead singer of The Pretty Reckless, was hospitalized on Tuesday after being bitten by a spider during the tour with AC/DC. Momsen posted a photo on Instagram of her bitten leg, which showed a skin rash from her ankle to her knee. In the description of the post, she wrote that she would be in the hospital but would continue with the scheduled concert in Mexico City. In another post, she showed how she was in the hospital bed, wearing a mask and holding an ice pack on her forehead, thanking the doctors for their help. This is not the first time Momsen has had issues with wild animals; two years ago, she was bitten by a bat during a concert, requiring rabies vaccinations. The Pretty Reckless will continue the tour until early December, with a concert scheduled in Nuremberg, Germany, on June 5, after the one in Mexico City.
