A new series, created by Alena Smith, the creator of the series "Dickinson", will explore the iconic film "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and its impact on fashion and pop culture. Based on Sam Wasson's bestseller, "Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M.: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany's and the Dawn of the Modern Woman", the series will follow the film's journey from pre-production to release, highlighting key moments and challenges faced on set.
Among the important characters are Audrey Hepburn, Truman Capote, Edith Head, and director Blake Edwards. The project is developed by Imagine Entertainment and Case Study Films, the company founded by Lily Collins, who also stars in the series "Emily in Paris". "Breakfast at Tiffany's", released in 1961, solidified Hepburn's status as a symbol of elegance and became a major cultural landmark in Hollywood history.
