Meghan Markle will co-host “Junior MasterChef Australia” in 2027 alongside Poh Ling Yeow, broadcaster Network 10 has confirmed. Filming is scheduled to take place at Melbourne Showgrounds at the beginning and in the middle of next year, although the exact date has not been set.
The Duchess of Sussex appeared on “MasterChef Australia” for the first time in July, in an episode filmed during a four-day visit to Australia with Prince Harry. According to Network 10, her appearance attracted the show’s largest Sunday audience recorded from 2023 up to that point.
In the new season, Meghan will work with contestants aged between 9 and 13. She said she accepted the invitation to return to the program without hesitation and is looking forward to seeing what the young participants will prepare. Poh Ling Yeow will also continue to serve on the show’s judging panel.
Her participation does not clarify whether Meghan, Prince Harry and their children will temporarily move to Australia. The couple stepped down from their royal duties in 2020 and later settled in the United States. Meghan was an actress before marrying Prince Harry.
