The 83rd Golden Globe Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday at the Beverly Hilton, starting at 8:00 PM Eastern Time, broadcast live by CBS and Paramount+. Among the nominees are Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Ariana Grande. Nikki Glaser will host the gala for the second consecutive year, bringing her characteristic humor. The favorite for the award is the film "One Battle After Another," with nine nominations, including for DiCaprio. Additionally, "The White Lotus" leads the TV nominations.
The Golden Globes, held annually, are not a sure predictor for the Oscars, but they provide an important platform for acceptance speeches. Helen Mirren will receive the "Cecil B. DeMille" Award for lifetime achievement, and Sarah Jessica Parker will be honored with the "Carol Burnett" Award. The ceremony promises to be a special event, bringing together celebrities from film and television.
