The painting, called 'Crude Oil (Vettriano)', was sold at Sotheby's auction house in London. The work, which was first shown at a major Banksy exhibition in 2005, has sparked interest from buyers. The sale took place shortly after the death of Jack Vettriano, whose work inspired Banksy.
