The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has said that movies made with artificial intelligence can win Oscars, but the use of AI won't affect their chances of nomination. Although AI has been used to improve recent productions such as "The Brutalist", artists are concerned about its impact on jobs. Following the 2023 strikes, safeguards have been put in place for the use of AI in the industry.
