Distribuție Energie Electrică Romania has completed the modernization of 110 kV substations in Galati county, including Filești, SNG, Tecuci and Ionășești, with an investment of over 12 million lei. The works included replacing 110/6 kV transformers with new ones, reducing losses, reconnecting the earth connections, installing new circuit breakers and integrating them into the SCADA system. The aim of these improvements is to increase the quality of the distribution service, energy efficiency and reduce accidental interruptions.
