Men's basketball: U BT Cluj and CSM CSU Oradea will play the final of the Romanian Cup

U-Banca Transilvania Cluj has qualified for the final of the Romanian Cup in basketball, after a convincing victory in the semifinal against Dinamo Bucharest, score 85-67, held on February 16, 2026. The Cluj team demonstrated solid play, having control of the game from start to finish. Russell was named the man of the match, contributing with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists, while Creek was the top scorer of the match with 18 points.

In the other semifinal, CSM CSU Oradea defeated CSM Târgu Mureș, score 93-89.

Thomas Bropleh finished with 19 points and 4 assists, Kalif Young added 18 points and 9 rebounds, while Bobe Nicolescu contributed with 17 points and 9 rebounds. On the other side, Trey Diggs and Mike Scott scored 21 points each for the Mureș team.

The final takes place on Wednesday in Oradea.
