U-BT Cluj-Napoca qualified for the quarter-finals of the EuroCup men's basketball competition after defeating the Montenegrin team Buducnost VOLI Podgorica, with a score of 100-82 (29-20, 23-18, 20-25, 28-19), on Wednesday evening (March 11), away, in the playoffs for this stage.

In the quarter-finals, U BT Cluj will face Bahceşehir College Istanbul, away, on March 17.
