Final 100% Mexican in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. The Mexican team Toluca qualified for the final after defeating Los Angeles FC.

The Mexican team Toluca managed to qualify for the final of the CONCACAF Champions Cup, after an impressive 4-0 victory at home against the American team Los Angeles FC on Wednesday evening.

In the first leg, Los Angeles FC had won 2-1, but Toluca managed to turn the tide of the match at Estadio Nemesio Diez. Although the first half ended without goals, thanks to the excellent interventions of goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, the hosts exploded in the second half. Helinho opened the scoring from a penalty in the 49th minute, followed by a goal from Everardo Lopez in the 58th minute. Paulinho finished the evening with a brace in stoppage time (90+2, 90+4), taking advantage of the numerical inferiority of the guests after Ryan Porteous was sent off.

Toluca will face another Mexican team, Tigres Monterrey, in the final, which eliminated Nashville FC in the semifinals. The final is scheduled for May 30.
