Thibaut Courtois, the goalkeeper of Real Madrid and the Belgian national team, has been diagnosed with an injury to the long adductor muscle in his right leg, according to the medical report from the Spanish club. For this reason, he will not be part of the national team for the World Cup 2026 qualifying matches against Kazakhstan (November 15) and Liechtenstein (November 18). Although the duration of his absence is unclear, coach Rudi Garcia will have to replace him, and most likely Senne Lammens from Manchester United will be chosen to defend Belgium's goal in these confrontations.
