At the European U20 Championships in Tempere, Finland, Ștefania Uță impressed with a remarkable performance, winning the gold medal in the 400 meter hurdles and breaking the competition record with a time of 55.55 seconds. Coached by Alina Gabriela Enescu and registered with CS Vâlcea 1924, Ștefania achieved this dramatic victory, beating Frenchwoman Tumba by one hundredth of a second. In third place was the Latvian athlete Hambidge with 56.71 seconds. This marks an impressive comeback for the athlete.
