South Korean striker Son Heung-min has been transferred from Tottenham Hotspur to Los Angeles FC for 27 million dollars, setting a new MLS record.

Los Angeles FC has officially announced the transfer of Son Heung-min from Tottenham Hotspur, where he played for ten years. The deal, valued at 27 million dollars, is a new MLS record. At 33, Son captained Tottenham and scored 173 goals in 454 appearances. He said parting with London was one of the most difficult decisions of his career. Son signed a contract until 2027, with additional options until 2029.
