Sergio Ramos, former player at Sevilla, expresses his interest in buying the Sevilla FC club. Recently, he traveled to Sevilla to informally discuss with representatives of the main shareholder families. Ramos entered the landscape of the club's acquisition at the end of 2025, when he made an offer of over 400 million euros, but negotiations were suspended due to an exclusivity agreement with an American fund. Although this fund has withdrawn, the club's owners have started negotiations with another American investor. Ramos wanted to revive the discussions and had a recent meeting with the Carrion and Ales families. The former player made his debut at Sevilla in 2004 and returned in the 2023/2024 season, having a strong connection with the club.
