Amalia Lică and Andreea Verdeș are taking part in the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Rio de Janeiro, starting with the ball and hoop events.

The two Romanian gymnasts, Amalia Lică and Andreea Verdeș, will compete at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Rio de Janeiro, being assigned to group C. The first events, scheduled for Wednesday evening, include ball and hoop, and on Friday morning there will be masks and ribbon. The championships bring together a record 77 countries and are an important stage in the build-up to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
