The captain of Chelsea, Reece James, announced on Friday the extension of his contract with the London club until 2032. The 26-year-old right-back, born and raised in London, stated that Chelsea means a lot to him and that he wishes to spend the best years of his career at the club.
James, a product of Chelsea's academy, has won five major trophies with the team, including the Champions League in 2021 and the Conference League, having over 200 appearances for The Blues. He also has 22 caps for the England national team and is a potential starter at right-back for this summer's World Cup, which will take place in North America.
