Real Madrid has extended the contract of defender Antonio Rüdiger until June 2027

Real Madrid Club announced on Tuesday the extension of defender Antonio Rüdiger's contract by one year, so the German international will remain at Santiago Bernabéu until June 2027. Rüdiger, at the age of 33, joined the Madrid team in 2022, coming from Chelsea on a free transfer.

Since his arrival, he has established himself as a key player in the team's defense, having made 182 appearances and winning eight trophies, including the Champions League and LaLiga. Although his last season was marked by injuries, limiting him to 26 appearances in all competitions, Rüdiger remains an important element for the team coached by Carlo Ancelotti.
