Rapid Bucharest defeated Petrolul Ploiești 2-0 in the first match of the sixth round of the Super League

In the first match of the sixth round of the Superliga, Rapid Bucharest defeated the team Petrolul Ploiești 2-0, away.

The match took place on Friday evening, and Rapid started strong, having the first chance in the 4th minute when Alex Dobre shot wide of the goal.

Although the Ploiești team also had chances, including a penalty request, the first half ended without goals.

Rapid opened the scoring in the 55th minute, through Alex Dobre, who benefited from an assist from Morușan.

Ploiești tried to come back but was caught on the counterattack, and Morușan scored in the 90th minute, thus setting the final score. Rapid occupies 2nd place in the standings, with 13 points, while Petrolul is in 6th place, with 9 points.
