Duckadam's record equaled!

After a rather close match, Paris Saint-Germain added their first Intercontinental Cup to their trophy cabinet, thanks to a decisive Matvey Safonov in the penalty shootout.

Safonov saved four attempts from the opponents and matched Helmuth Duckadam's record from the 1986 European Champions Cup final, when the Romanian goalkeeper kept the Steaua goal against Barcelona, achieving four consecutive saves at that time.
