The charges relate to the 2022-23 season, with both clubs in danger of having points taken away. Everton have already been sanctioned with 10 points deducted this season for exceeding the allowable loss limits at the end of the 2021/22 campaign. Forest spent nearly £200m on 30 new players last season.
