Paramount, owned by Skydance, will exclusively broadcast UFC contests in the US under a seven-year streaming deal valued at $7.7 billion. This is the first major move by the new media company since the $8.4 billion merger. Starting next year, the Paramount+ platform will include all numbered galas and 'Fight Night' events, marking a shift away from the pay-per-view model. David Ellison, the company's CEO, believes the UFC integration is key to attracting new subscribers.
