Mirra Andreeva, a 19-year-old player and seed number 8, has managed to qualify for her first Grand Slam final in her career at Roland Garros, after a convincing victory against Marta Kostyuk, seed number 15, with a score of 6-1, 6-3, in just 76 minutes. This victory ends a streak of 17 consecutive matches won by Kostyuk.

Andreeva thus becomes the third youngest finalist at Roland Garros in the 21st century, being surpassed only by Coco Gauff and Kim Clijsters. She is also the youngest player to reach a Grand Slam final since Gauff in 2022. Andreeva will try to become the first very young Grand Slam champion since Gauff, in the final that will take place against either Diana Shnaider, a player ranked 25th, or Majka Chwalinska, a player from the qualifiers.
