French striker Kylian Mbappe has scored 55 goals in 2025, having the chance to surpass the record of 59 set by Ronaldo in 2013. Currently, Mbappe leads the top scorers' charts in La Liga and the Champions League, being the favorite to win the Pichichi Trophy and the European Golden Boot again. He is also the top scorer internationally, with a total of 62 goals for Real Madrid and the national team. At just 26 years old, Mbappe has four matches left until the end of the year, including clashes with Celta Vigo and Manchester City. The star has become the first player in Real Madrid's history to score at least 25 goals in the first 20 official matches of the season. After the victory against Athletic Bilbao, Real Madrid has closed the gap to one point behind leaders Barcelona in La Liga.
