Marius Lăcătuș has been honored with the title of honorary citizen of the Municipality of Brasov, a distinction awarded for his achievements in football. A renowned former player, Lăcătuș won the European Champions Cup in 1986 and 10 national titles. During the ceremony, he emphasized the importance of this title and recalled his debut with FC Brasov. He also discussed with Mayor George Scripcaru the future of Brasov's football and plans to rebuild the team to return to the elite of Romanian sport.
