Technician Jan Urban announced the return of Robert Lewandowski as captain of the Polish national team, after a controversy in which the former coach stripped him of the captain's armband. Urban, recently appointed to the position, wants to start a new chapter for the team. Lewandowski, with 85 goals in 158 matches for Poland, is considered vital for the team's qualification for the World Cup. The next matches are against the Netherlands and Finland.
